Synopsis

After having saved up for a few years, in the late 1990's my husband and I quite our jobs to go travelling and make memories to last us for a lifetime. It was quite different back then in a time before smart phones, on-line banking and lots of the technology we take for granted today. Email was just starting to become widely used, and towards the end of our travels internet cafes were starting to spring up. We travelled fairly extensively for almost a year and a half through Asia, Australia and New Zealand, making wonderful memories to hold dear for the rest of our lives. I first wrote this book not long after our return, and our printed copy had since sat on our bookshelf, rarely to be picked up. When I started to look into Kindle Books, I picked this back up to have a read through and enjoyed reminiscing. It was then that I decided to do a basic re-write and then publish my book (journal) on Kindle to share our adventures.
